Organised by NSS Unit SFU/17 of SKHSS & PHC, Nalleppilly
NSS Unit SFU/17 of Sreekrishna Higher Secondary School (SKHSS), in collaboration with the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Nalleppilly, organised a meaningful programme in connection with Palliative Care Day. The programme included a pledge, rally, and flash mob, aiming to create awareness about compassion, care, and social responsibility.
๐ Inauguration
The event began from the school premises and was formally inaugurated by Principal A. Chandrashekhar. The inauguration marked the beginning of a socially committed initiative highlighting the importance of palliative care in the community.
๐ถ Rally & Pledge
NSS volunteers actively participated in the rally, spreading awareness about palliative care and the need for empathy towards patients and their families. The volunteers took a pledge, promising to support and promote palliative care activities in society.
๐ช Refreshments by PHC
After the rally, the PHC, Nalleppilly arranged snacks for the NSS volunteers. This gesture reflected the strong coordination and cooperation between the health department and the school NSS unit.
๐ Flash Mob Performance
Following the refreshments, the NSS volunteers performed an energetic and impactful flash mob near the Panchayath Hall. The performance attracted public attention and effectively conveyed the message of care, compassion, and community support for palliative patients.
