Event begins in Nallepilly — MP K. Radhakrishnan inaugurates the festival

Chittur Sub-District School Kalolsavam officially began at Sreekrishna Higher Secondary School, Nallepilly. The event was inaugurated by K. Radhakrishnan, Member of Parliament, marking the start of a vibrant cultural festival.

In addition to the main venue at Sreekrishna HSS, stages and arrangements have been made at SKHS, GUPS, and GLPS so that competitions can be held simultaneously across locations. The festival will run through Saturday, featuring a variety of cultural competitions.

This year’s kalolsavam will bring together approximately 5,250 students from schools across the Chittur sub-district to participate and showcase their talents.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by S. Aneesha, President of the Panchayat. The event was also attended by A. Sujatha (Block Panchayat President), standing committee chairpersons P. Anitha and K. Muthu, School Manager S. Sakeer Husain, Principal A. Chandrasekharan, and Chittur AEO S. Ravi, who addressed the gathering.

The festival opened on a celebratory note, promising days of art, music, dance, and spirited competition among young performers.
