Environmental Day Celebrated at Sreekrishna Higher Secondary School, Nallepilly
Nallepilly, 5 June 2025 — Sreekrishna Higher Secondary School, Nallepilly, observed Environmental Day with great enthusiasm and active student participation. The celebrations were led by the school’s NSS Unit SFU/17 under the banner of a special event named “Kalppakam”, which focused on promoting environmental sustainability and green practices.
As part of the event, students collected coconut saplings and vegetable plants, which were then planted in various parts of the school campus. This initiative aimed to instill environmental consciousness among students and encourage them to engage in eco-friendly practices.
The event was coordinated and guided by NSS Program Officer Sri. Anilkumar P.K., Pradeesh P.G., and NSS Advisory Committee Member Usman A.H. Their efforts and guidance played a crucial role in the successful execution of the program.
NSS volunteers of the school actively participated in every aspect of the event — from collecting plants to planting and maintaining them — showcasing their dedication and teamwork.
The program “Kalppakam” served as a meaningful step toward building a greener tomorrow and left a lasting impression on the students and staff alike.
