
Seven-Day NSS Camp “Prajwalanam” Concludes at GVGHSS Chittur
The seven-day NSS camp titled “Prajwalanam” (Ignition) conducted at GGHSS Chittur concluded on a grand note on December 27, 2024. The camp, organized as part of the National Service Scheme (NSS), was marked by various activities aimed at instilling social responsibility and leadership qualities among the participants.
The closing ceremony commenced with the NSS Geetham, setting a solemn and inspiring tone for the event. The welcome address was delivered by Sri. Usman AH, member of the NSS Advisory Committee, who extended his warm greetings to all the attendees and emphasized the importance of community service.
The event was chaired by Sri. A. Chandrashekhar, Principal of Sreekrishna Higher Secondary School, Nallepilly. In his address, he appreciated the efforts of the NSS volunteers and highlighted the impact of such camps in shaping socially committed individuals.
The closing ceremony was officially inaugurated by Sri. Sujatha. A, President of Chittur Block Panchayath. In her inaugural address, she commended the participants for their dedication and urged them to continue contributing positively to society.
The camp report, detailing the activities and achievements of the seven-day program, was presented by Sri. Anilkumar, Program Officer, NSS SFU/17. The comprehensive report showcased the successful execution of various activities, including community service, skill development sessions, and cultural events.
The ceremony also witnessed greetings and motivational words from G. Bindu, who commended the efforts of the NSS team and encouraged the volunteers to continue their journey of selfless service.
The vote of thanks was eloquently delivered by Kumari Anaswarakrishna, the camp leader of NSS SFU/17. She expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the camp, including the organizing team, volunteers, and dignitaries.
The closing ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, marking the end of an inspiring and memorable journey. The camp “Prajwalanam” served as a platform for the volunteers to ignite their potential and contribute meaningfully to society.
