SFU17 Organizes Quiz, Anti-War Pledge, and Rally
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit SFU17 of Sreekrishna Higher Secondary School, Nallepilly, Palakkad, conducted a series of meaningful events on August 6, 2024, to observe Hiroshima Day. The programme aimed to educate and remind students about the devastating effects of war and the importance of peace.
The day’s events included a quiz competition, an anti-war pledge, and a rally. The programmes were inaugurated by the chairperson of the Nallepilly Grama Panchayath Educational Standing Committee, who highlighted the significance of remembering Hiroshima and promoting peace.
Principal A. Chandrashekhar delivered an insightful speech about Hiroshima and the long-term impacts of war on humanity and the environment. He emphasized the importance of peace and the role of young people in promoting a harmonious world.
