NSS Unit SFU/17 of Sreekrishna Higher Secondary School, Nallepilly celebrated World Environment Day 2026 with great enthusiasm by distributing various kinds of plants to students and the public.
🌱 Environment Day Celebration
Sreekrishna Higher Secondary School, Nallepilly, NSS Unit SFU/17 celebrated World Environment Day 2026 in a meaningful and eco-friendly manner. The programme aimed at creating awareness about environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable living among students and the public.
The function commenced with the singing of the NSS Geetham. As part of the celebration, a large number of plant saplings of different varieties were distributed to students and members of the public, encouraging everyone to contribute towards a greener future.

The programme was inaugurated by Nallepilly Grama Panchayath President Sri. Binu by presenting a plant sapling to an NSS volunteer.
